Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Civil Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in civil construction and infrastructure works, preferably in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) or renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of civil execution, site supervision, quality control, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and safe project completion.
Key Roles & Responsibilites:
- Supervise and manage all civil construction activities for BESS projects.
- Review civil drawings, layouts, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Execute foundations, equipment pads, trenches, cable routing, drainage systems, and access roads.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and EPC teams for seamless project execution.
- Monitor contractor performance, construction progress, and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain daily progress reports.
- Verify measurements, billing, and material consumption.
- Resolve technical issues during construction and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Ensure project completion within schedule and budget.
Qualification & Experience:
- B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- 4–6 years
- Strong technical knowledge of civil works related to BESS projects.
- Willingness to work at Thennampati, Tamil Nadu.
- Experience in Renewable Energy, Solar, Substation, or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
- Knowledge of project planning, quality assurance, and EHS requirements.
- Experience working on EPC projects will be an added advantage.
Key Skills:
- Good knowledge of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
- Strong understanding of civil construction practices and site execution.
- Experience in foundations, structural works, and infrastructure development.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation.
- Familiarity with Indian Standards (IS Codes) and construction quality procedures.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage contractors and multiple stakeholders.
