We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman – Civil with 7–8 years of experience in Solar Power and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, modifying, and managing detailed civil engineering drawings and layouts for utility-scale solar PV plants and BESS facilities. The role requires strong drafting expertise, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to project drafting standards and quality requirements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects.

• Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, site layouts, grading plans, road layouts, drainage layouts, and fencing drawings.

• Prepare foundation drawings for SCBs, Inverters, Transformers, and BESS Containers.

• Generate cable trench and routing drawings in coordination with electrical teams.

• Prepare contour plans and topographical survey-based layouts.

• Develop construction drawings and as-built drawings as per site requirements.

• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and project execution teams.

• Review design inputs and incorporate engineering comments into drawings.

• Support project teams during design development and construction stages.

• Ensure drawing deliverables meet project schedules and quality standards.

• Maintain drawing registers, document logs, and revision records.

• Ensure compliance with project drafting standards and client requirements.

• Manage drawing version control and document archiving.

• Prepare drawing transmittals and maintain project documentation.

• Verify drawing accuracy and consistency before issuance.

• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.               

• Incorporate review comments and maintain updated drawing records.

• Support engineering audits and document reviews.

• Assist in standardization of drafting practices and templates.

• Mentor junior draftsmen and support technical development.

• Recommend improvements in drafting workflows and documentation processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Experience in Solar Power Plant and BESS project drafting.

• Preparation of GA drawings, site layouts, cable routing layouts, foundation drawings, roads, drainage, and fencing layouts.

• Knowledge of topographical surveys and contour mapping.

• Ability to prepare as-built drawings.

• Understanding of solar plant design standards and engineering practices.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman – Electrical with 7–8 years of experience in Solar Power and BESS projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed electrical drawings and layouts for utility-scale solar PV plants, pooling stations, substations, and BESS facilities. The role requires expertise in electrical drafting, coordination with engineering teams, and effective management of project documentation.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings for utility-scale solar and BESS projects.

• Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings and site layout drawings.

• Prepare string layout drawings and DC/AC cable routing layouts.

• Develop earthing and lightning protection system layouts.

• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and electrical schematics.

• Support drafting activities for 33 kV Pooling Stations.

• Assist in preparation of drawings related to 132 kV / 220 kV substations and transmission line interfaces.

• Coordinate with electrical, civil, structural, and project execution teams.

• Incorporate engineering design changes and comments into drawings.

• Support project teams during design reviews and construction activities.

• Ensure timely delivery of engineering drawing packages.

• Maintain drawing registers, document logs, and revision records.

• Manage drawing version control and project documentation.

• Prepare drawing transmittals and maintain document archives.

• Ensure compliance with client and project documentation requirements.

• Verify drawing accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.

• Ensure adherence to project drafting standards and engineering practices.

• Implement review comments and maintain updated revisions.

• Support quality audits and engineering reviews.

• Assist in development of drafting standards and best practices.

• Support mentoring and training of junior draftsmen.

• Identify opportunities to improve drafting efficiency and quality.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in AutoCAD drafting for utility-scale solar projects.

• Preparation of GA drawings, site layouts, string layouts, cable routing layouts, and SLDs.

• Experience in earthing and lightning protection system layouts.

• Understanding of 33 kV Pooling Stations.

• Basic understanding of 132 kV / 220 kV substations and transmission lines.

• Knowledge of DC and AC cable routing principles.

• Understanding of module orientation, row spacing, and shadow analysis concepts.

• Familiarity with solar and BESS engineering standards and practices.
