Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Electrical Design to deliver electrical engineering outputs for solar PV/EPC projects. The role involves preparing and reviewing designs, drawings, BOQs/BOMs, and ensuring compliance with standards while coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare/review electrical designs: SLDs, AC/DC layouts, cable sizing, earthing/grounding, lightning protection, and load calculations.
- Perform system studies: load analysis, transformer/inverter/cable sizing, voltage drop, and protection coordination.
- Develop BOQs/BOMs and technical specifications for electrical equipment and materials.
- Coordinate with civil/structural, procurement, and execution teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Review vendor submittals and support procurement with technical inputs.
- Ensure compliance with grid codes, electrical standards, and project specifications.
- Provide design support during tendering, execution, and commissioning phases.
- Maintain documentation and version control of drawings and specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers/draftsmen and ensure quality and standardization of design outputs.
