Responsibilities:
1.Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on tower structures and equipment to ensure their integrity and functionality.
  • Passive Infra Equipment: Maintenance of DG, SMPS, Battery Bank, PAC, Solar panel etc., in stipulated intervals as per the client SOP.
  • DG Health Check: Maintain DG should be in automation at all the time. (B – Check will be carried by Original Equipment Manufacturer in 6 months or 600 Hrs as per the Operators schedule.
  • All the infra parameters should be visible in operators monitoring system.
2.Corrective Maintenance:
  • Fault Identification: A technician must quickly pinpoint the root cause of a failure after an equipment breakdown or alarm.
  • Repair and Replacement: This involves physically repairing damaged parts of the tower or its associated equipment, such as cables, or power systems, and replacing components when necessary.
  • Restoration of Services: The primary goal is to bring the equipment back to a working condition to ensure uninterrupted communication services.
  • Escalation: If a problem is too complex or requires parts that are not on-site, the technician escalates the issue to a supervisor.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records by completing corrective maintenance checklists and reports is a critical part of the job.
3.Safety and Compliance: Conduct thorough safety inspections, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and report potential hazards to supervisors.
4.Site Hygiene: The technician is also responsible for keeping the tower site clean and free of debris to prevent further issues.
5.Other assignments: To be performed based on the criticality and the requirement(s).

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Physical Fitness: Ability to endure the physical demands of working outdoors in various conditions.
  2. Technical Aptitude: Foundational understanding of technical equipment and the ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware.
  3. Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to adhering to safety procedures and regulations is crucial.
  4. Valid Driver's License & 2-Wheeler: Require a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to access work sites.
  5. Education: Diploma or equivalent is typically required in the steam of Electrical / Electronics.
