Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SCADA Engineer to join our team, focusing on solar EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SCADA systems, with a deep understanding of solar power plant operations, integration, and performance monitoring. The candidate should be proficient in designing, configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing SCADA systems for solar projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and configure SCADA systems for solar power plants, ensuring efficient monitoring and control of the entire system.
  • Conduct SCADA system integration, testing, and commissioning for solar projects.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize SCADA system performance for continuous operation.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of SCADA systems with other control systems in solar plants.
  • Maintain documentation related to system architecture, design, and configuration for SCADA systems.
  • Provide on-site support during installation, testing, and commissioning of SCADA systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards in all SCADA-related activities.
  • Conduct training for operations staff on SCADA system usage, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Work with vendors and external stakeholders for system upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical support and solve complex problems related to SCADA systems in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
  • 10 - 15 years of hands-on experience in SCADA systems design, configuration, and commissioning, preferably in solar EPC projects.
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA protocols, automation systems, and communication technologies used in solar power plants.
  • Experience with various SCADA software platforms (e.g., Siemens, Schneider Electric, GE, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy systems, particularly solar power plants.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to solar EPC projects.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Solar Inverter Communication (e.g., SMA, ABB, Huawei).
  • Knowledge of remote monitoring tools and performance analysis for solar plants.
  • Experience in troubleshooting electrical and communication issues in SCADA systems.
  • Familiarity with programming languages for SCADA system customization and optimization.
